Rod Baker Ford is planning to open a new dealership on Route 59 in Plainfield. The facility will serve as a commercial hub for the village, according to an economic incentive agreement signed by the Rod Baker Ford team and the Plainfield Village Board in July. The dealership will give one percent of its gross receipts to the village, as per the terms of the agreement. The village will reimburse the dealership for certain costs related to construction, up to $2 million.
