Guillaume Gargaud

Guillaume Gargaud studied improvisation at IIMA, France between 1999-2002. He then joined Zwann Ei, a sound and video collective focusing on audio/visual context and how this relates to the body. In 2004 he joined Aarde with Loïs Laplace, releasing 2 CDs, “A whole day” and “Desperate Islands” on the Dirty Demos label. In 2007 Guillaume also started participating in the Future Ethnic Comparative Research Lab, examining ancient and modern technological evolution. Guillaume is currently working in collaboration with Marc Roques for an audio/visual project, Zooloop.

He released his first album solo “Le Lieu” in 2008 through Dirty Demos U.K.
In 2009 he released his second solo album ”She” on Utech Records U.S.
